Anonymous asked: Hey guys, how can I import a script to my Celtx Desktop from my Celtx Edge online account?? The only reason I want to import it to my desktop celtx is so I can then open it from my Studios and share the file with another writer. Please help! Thanks, Alberto Tihan
First of all, Edge is designed to make sharing easier than it ever used to be. All you should have to do is open the script in your Edge account, click the Sharing tab in the right-hand sidebar, and add your collaborator’s e-mail address. He doesn’t even need to have any Celtx software installed.
If, however, you want to go through your Studio, this is easy as long as you have upgraded your copy of Celtx Desktop to version 2.9.7. Launch the desktop software, click File > Open from Celtx and make sure Celtx Services is checked. Enter your e-mail address and password.
You can then save it directly to your Studio by clicking File > Save to Celtx and changing the drop-down to Legacy Studio. Enter your username and password.
Whoomp, there it is.
Then you can log in to your Studio as per normal and share the project.
